Even though I am the managing director, I am easily hurt.
That was my problem.

That day, when I was casually joking around with my friend,
The friend said, "I think your sensitivity is wonderful. You don't have to fix it."
And he showed me a poem by Noriko Ibaraki.
I was shocked by what was written there.

"My frail heart is like a fresh raw oyster,
easily hurt even by the cursing of a child.
But I know now that there is no need to try and fix it.
I can be as soft as a fresh rose, even as I get older.
It is hard to bloom in the wider world.
But in any work,
At the core of every effort,
A fragile antenna is inside, hidden and shivering, perhaps.... "


It was these words that saved me, I who thought that a weak heart is something to overcome.
I knew that these were the words I always wanted to hear all this time.
