Yoko Yamashita

Born in Hyogo prefecture. Studied copperplate engraving under Mutsumi Yamamoto. In recent years, she has been working on the production of prints (photogravure collage) using a photoengraving process on her own collage works, expanded her methods that transcend the boundaries of techniques, mixed works of prints, collages, and objet d'art. Print collections for poems by Paul Eluard "Flower and Fruit Emblem" and "Voice of Water" are published by Private Press. She has also done book illustrations for Yuko Yamao, Mari Mori, Joyce Mansour and more.
