A set of coffee utensils with distinguished silhouette by Nankei Pottery.
For the server and dripper, the clay called “kuro-neri” with high iron content is used. During firing the iron carbonize to produce this soft black color. Without glaze you can feel the clay in its texture. The stand for the dipper is made of brass metal. Combining the contrasting materials, this set of utensils exude a uniquely sharp and modern impression.

The brass stand is unpainted and delivered vacuum-sealed. Due to oxidization its surface color will change and develop from the moment you open the package and will be subdued as you continue to use over time. We hope that you will find its beauty of aging process.

Suited to serving 1 to 2 persons. For the dripper, please use cone coffee filter.
The brass stand has open spaces from three directions where you can peek through to check the amount of coffee inside while dripping.

All the items are hand-processed, one by one. Please be aware that there may be slight individual differences in the texture or the form of the spout.
